Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. She was in 1997 when she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training held in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011, they renewed vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk revealed to fans the good information that she was pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013 on Twitter, announced her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to a large online audience through social networks.
